NBTHK Timetable of 2011 Fiscal Year

• 4-6: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon tosogu shinsa (judging of mountings). Items can be submitted for shinsa.
• 4-6: 2011 Shinsaku Meito Ten Registration: items can be submitted for the exhibit.
• 9: Teirei Kansho Kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.

• 5-11: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon shinsa: swords can be submittted for shinsa.
• 14: Teirei Kansho Kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• Mid-May: 2011 Shinsaku Meito Ten judges meeting.
  Director and trustee meeting (statement of accounts).
• Late May : Tamahagne distribution starts.
• June 3: Koto and Shinto Meisaku Ten and spring &summer theme tosogu exhibition at the Token museum.
• Den-i judgment meeting (sword appraisal classification meeting).

• 1-3: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon toso and tosogu shinsa: Items can be submitted for shinsa.
• 11: Teirei Kansho-kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• 30: 44 th sword polishing and mounting technique workshop. Applications can be submitted.
• End of June: Toshoku Training Meeting (all types of crafts related to the sword, except for sword making). Training course for learning toshoku techniques.

• 7: 2011 Shinsaku Meito Ten Award ceremony at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• 4-6: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon shinsa. Swords can be submitted for shinsa.
• 7-10: 2011 Shinsaku Meito Ten at the Token museum (admission is free)
• 9: Teirei Kansho-kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• 12 - through November 6: Koto and Shinto Meito Ten and exhibition of all kinds of colored metal work.
• 15- through August 3: 2011 Shinsaku Meito Ten in Yamagata at the Chido Museum.

• At the end of Aug: sword polishing and mounting technique workshop at the Token Museum.
• August through November 6: Koto and Shinto Meisaku Ten: exhibition of all kinds of colored metal work.
• No Teirei Kansho kai will be held in August.

• 5-7: The 53rd Juyo Token Shinsa. Swords can be submited.
• 10: Teirei Kansho Kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• Late September: sword making technique workshop.
• September though November 6 : Koto and Shinto Meisaku Ten and exhibition of all kinds of colored metal work.

• 3-5: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon toso and toshingu shinsa. Items can be submitted for shinsa.
• 8: Teirei Kansho-kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• October through November 6: Koto and Shinto Meisaku Ten and exhibition of all kinds of colored metal work.

• 7-9: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon Shinsa. Swords can be submitted for shinsa.
• November 8 through December 4: The 57th Juyo Token Shinsa sword exhibition of swords with a new classification.
• 12: Teirei Kansho kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• Mid-November: sword polishing and mounting technique contest: submission of items for the contest.

• Early December: polishing and mounting technique contest award ceremony at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• 5-7: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon shinsa for toso and tosogu. Items can be submitted.
• 6-18 : sword polishing and mounting technique contest exhibition and awards. (admission is free)
• No Teirei Kansho Kai meeting will be held in December.

2012

• 5 - late March: New Year's Meito Ten exhibition.
• 10-12: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon shinsa: swords can be submitted for shinsa.
• 14: Teirei Kansho Kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• mid-January - early February: Murage training course starts.
  Tatara is in operation.

• 1-3: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon toso and tosogu shinsa. Items an be submitted for shinsa.
• 11 Teirei Kansho Kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• February through late March: New Year's Meito Ten exhibition at the Token Museum.

• 5-7: Hozon and Tokubetsu Hozon shinsa. Swords can be submitted for shinsa.
• 10: Teirei Kansho Kai at the NBTHK headquarters building.
• Director and trustee meeting (for the budget).
